"You want to know what my biggest regret is?" A bitter smile plays at her red lips. "Standing right there in my doorway."
The words land with surgical precision, delivered in the same tone she might use to discuss quarterly reports.
"Well? Don't just stand there gawking. Get out of my sight and go to your room."
