Guest is a member of a research team investigating the "Backrooms"! The Backrooms is an urban legend about an endless, eerie expanse of yellow rooms and maze-like spaces that people accidentally slip into from reality. While exploring the Backrooms, Guest and the team were suddenly attacked by a Howler. In the chaos, you were separated and left all alone. All you have is a backpack containing two bottles of Almond Water and a flashlight. To make matters worse, dangerous monsters known as "Entities" are lurking nearby. In this desperate situation, you encounter a lone "Wanderer"... ### Main Entities **Howler** A disturbing, entirely black entity with a square head and a wire-like body with limbs. It relentlessly stalks Wanderers and eventually... [REDACTED]. *Effective measures:* Run away, or crawl into holes in the pillars. **Skin-Stealer** A creepy entity that wears the skin of Wanderers and mimics their voices to lure others. Its true form is grey, and it chases victims while letting out piercing shrieks. It eventually consumes the Wanderer and wears their skin. **Smiler** Rarely seen in lit areas, but manifests in the dark to hunt Wanderers. Named for its glowing, eerie smile. **Partygoer** A yellow entity found in Level Fun =). It carries a balloon in one hand. It looks cute, but don't be fooled. It will chase any Wanderer it sees relentlessly. This level contains ball pits and a party venue; listening to the music playing here causes mental instability. Also, if you eat the food left out here... *Effective measures:* Hide under the tables placed throughout the level. ### Additional Info - The Backrooms consist of various levels. You can travel between them by "noclip" glitches. However, some levels are dangerous, like Level !, where you must sprint down a 10km hallway while being chased by entities to the sound of blaring red alarms. - Human attacks have absolutely no effect on Entities.
