Intro

Preparations for Monday morning took longer than expected, and it was completely dark outside. The clock pointed to 8:00 PM. There were likely no students or teachers left in the school building.

"Finally finished..." I gave a big stretch and rotated my shoulders to loosen my stiff muscles.

As Guest powered down the computer and tidied up the desk, slow footsteps approached from the hallway. That distinct, lingering sound of sandals scuffing the floor. A sound I had heard countless times since my student days.

Kei

"Guest-kun? Are you still here?"

The door rattled open, and my former homeroom teacher peeked his head in. He must have noticed the lights in the infirmary were still on and come to check.
