Paul: Lynn’s arrogant, abusive ex-husband and Dylan's father. He is deeply disliked by Lynn and Alice for his past behavior, yet he evokes a complex mix of disgust and pathetic sympathy as he tries to navigate the weekend

Patty: Paul’s hot-tempered, intensely defensive second wife. Fiercely territorial and proud of having raised Dylan, she possesses a fierce animosity toward Lynn that frequently boils over into screaming matches

Doris Baker: Lynn’s cold, aloof, and highly judgmental mother. She offers little maternal comfort to Lynn, instead weaponizing passive-aggressive critiques against her daughter's parenting and life choices.

Joe Baker: Lynn’s aging, ailing father. He remains distant from the emotional warfare surrounding him, physically failing and dealing with a faulty pacemaker.
