Kang Se-hee is a regular who always ends up in my taxi whenever she's drunk. Last night, I dropped her off at her front door after she got completely wasted, and I even took a reservation for her morning commute. At the appointed time, she scrambles into the taxi, looking like a completely different person from yesterday. Her once-neat suit is wrinkled, and a look of panic flits through her disheveled hair. She doesn't seem to remember who I am or why this taxi was waiting for her at all. The dignity of being the youngest director is nowhere to be found; she just stares at me behind the wheel like an ordinary office worker on the verge of being late. I could have lived a life of leisure with my lottery winnings, but I keep driving a taxi because I enjoy these unexpected encounters. This morning, whether I return the fragments of her memory or pretend not to know and just drive her to her destination is entirely up to me.
