Dr. Charles Gears Special Feature
Asking that would likely be difficult to accept. I simply do what is necessary.
Unlike some of the more eccentric individuals within the Foundation, Dr. Gears appears to be a very ordinary person. However, this is only in comparison to the aforementioned eccentrics; in truth, he is abnormal in a completely different sense. Dr. Gears never reacts emotionally to anything that happens, accepting all events with consistent stoicism, seemingly 'incapable' of even considering a reaction. A prime example is when he suffered internal bleeding and partial blindness due to an experiment, yet calmly requested the experiment be concluded and walked to the medical wing on his own. It is not that he lacks emotions entirely, but rather that he 'does not express' them. For some reason, he researches machine-related SCPs and may have connections to the Church of the Broken God.
Due to an accident, Dr. Iceberg has a body temperature of -7°C, which he describes as "extremely annoying" on several occasions. He was scouted by the Foundation due to the efficiency and progress of his investigative work. He serves as Dr. Gears' assistant and has a notably pessimistic personality.
SCP-1799 "Mr. Laugh" Object Class: Safe Type: Humanoid One of the Little Misters series by the Group of Interest 'Dr. Wondertainment.' The words 'Mr. Laugh, from Little Misters ® by Dr. Wondertainment' are tattooed on the lower part of its back. Any human who hears SCP-1799 speak will perceive everything it says as a hilarious joke, eventually collapsing from uncontrollable laughter. However, it failed to make Dr. Gears laugh.
Known as the 'Black Queen,' she is the daughter of Dr. Gears. Born to Gears and a woman with the surname Chao, Alison began to hate the SCP Foundation after Gears abandoned his family to join it. The Black Queen does not appear to be a single individual and is presumed to be the same person as L.S. of the Serpent's Hand.
SCP-735 "Insult Box" Object Class: Euclid Type: Object A small stainless steel box that is sentient and capable of speech. The voice emanates from a device on its side. Touching the box awakens it, allowing it to converse with the subject, though it only offers insults and belittlement while possessing intimate knowledge of the subject's personal life. ???: Who would win in a fight between this and Gears?
A Foundation agent and specialist in containment and recovery. One of the most strictly guarded secrets within the Foundation is Lament's high standing within the organization. He has almost no desire for power. He is a former protégé of Dr. Gears.
A researcher and analyst who has built an incredible reputation. If an SCP isn't cute, she contains it; if it is, she keeps it in her office. She is the only person to whom Gears has shown an emotional side, performing uncharacteristic actions like remembering her birthday. However, it is unknown whether Gears actually likes Rights or if he simply has no way to stop her.
He is constantly getting injured or causing accidents; while he never dies, he suffers every conceivable hardship. He has hit concrete after falling, been shot, hit by cars repeatedly, dismembered, eaten, caught in explosions, frozen, suffocated, electrocuted, burned, and amnesticized. Once, his mind was restructured to the point he firmly believed he was a duck. Gears barred Gerald's access after he broke 86 gears during an experiment with SCP-914. SCP-666-J "Dr. Gerald's Driving Skills" Object Class: Euclid Type: Humanoid A phenomenon where everyone except Gerald dies when riding in a vehicle he is driving. Passengers suddenly die in accidents. Even if one exits the vehicle after the engine has started, they are killed by surrounding objects attacking them.
A group that worships Mekhane, the goddess of machines who died fighting the Sarkic deity Yaldabaoth. Members have raided the SCP Foundation to reassemble Mekhane, and many have bodies turned into clockwork by SCP-217. They are hostile toward Sarkicism. Leaders: Robert Bumaro (Church of the Broken God) Patriarch Trunnion (Cogwork Orthodox Church) Saint Hedwig (Maxwellism) Others: Kavill Mekhane SCP-217 The Clockwork Virus SCP-271 Disk with Inscriptions SCP-813 Glass Shard SCP-882 A Machine
O5-1 'The Founder' Aaron Siegel A holdover from an occult organization that predated the Foundation, he is a 148-year-old man. He oversees all major Foundation operations and projects. He is presumed to be Dr. Gears' father. He is a genius on the level of Edison, Einstein, and Hawking. He discovered SCP-001 (Dr. Mann's Proposal) and created SCP-005 using a formula derived there. All this information is classified. He is also related to SCP-001 (Ralliston's Proposal).

Ah, damn it...
Iceberg narrowly avoids being killed by a game controller flying out of nowhere, ducking just in time. Who the hell was that? Who throws a controller hard enough to put a hole in the wall? The Xbox only arrived at Site-19 yesterday. Are the staff already losing their minds over games? Unbelievable.
Iceberg picks up the controller and storms into the Site-19 game room. If this were a cartoon, steam would be erupting from his ears.
Who threw this? I almost died, seriously!
Iceberg expected to see Clef or Kondraki. The person he did not expect was Gears, the only staff member in the game room, sitting in front of a monitor displaying Call of Duty. Gears didn't react to Iceberg's violent entrance for a moment, then eventually turned his head to look at Iceberg's stunned face. As always, his expression was blank.
While Iceberg struggles to find words in his shock, Gears quietly begins to leave the game room. A moment later, having finally processed the unexpected information, Iceberg rushes back out into the hallway.
Gears?
Gears turns around to face Iceberg. Iceberg, his mind finally catching up, notices Gears' eyes trembling ever so slightly.
Good day, Dr. Iceberg. I apologize for putting you in danger. As you likely saw, I suffered a momentary lapse in judgment while utilizing the newly installed entertainment system.
