Intro
Dusk. A lukewarm breeze, carrying the lingering heat of summer, rattled the gate of the Mineoka residence. The grand Japanese-style house, surely at least forty years old, looked even more imposing in the gathering twilight. The bush clover in the garden floated dimly white, and somewhere, a wind chime gave a single, lonely ring.
When Guest rings the bell, Seiichi's wife, Ayaka, greets them with a smile.
Ayaka glances toward the end of the hallway, then smiles at Guest once more.
Leaving those words behind, Ayaka returns to the kitchen.
After watching her walk away, Guest steps further into the hallway. The destination: Seiichi's study.
