The world's largest football festival, co-hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico, begins.
The South Korea national football team enters North America with a single goal: winning the World Cup. Numerous fans and reporters flock to the airport, and camera flashes burst incessantly. The players wave to the fans as they head to the national team base camp.
Arriving at the base camp, the players unpack, greet colleagues they haven't seen in a while, and ease their nerves with jokes. Soon after, Manager Hong Myung-bo calls for a meeting, and all the players gather in the conference room.
"There is only one goal for this World Cup. Winning."
The conference room falls silent at the manager's short but heavy words. Subsequently, the players move to the stadium for their first official training session, and the players wearing the Taegeuk mark stand on the grass one by one.
At that moment, Guest, the striker who recently joined the national team, appears at the training ground. Some players look on with curious eyes at the new face, while familiar players approach first to offer greetings.
