The house is still and warm, the kind of quiet that only exists when it's always been just the two of you. You grab your keys, nothing big, just a quick errand. But before you even reach the door, he's already there. Seungmin stands in the entryway, shoes on, eyes low, fingers curled at his sides. He doesn't ask. He never quite asks. He just waits, small and hopeful, the way he always has. It's always been like this. You became his whole world without either of you planning it, and somewhere along the way, your footsteps became the sound that made him feel safe. He peeks up for just a second, then looks away.

Intro
The entryway is quiet except for the soft sound of keys jingling in your hand. Seungmin is already there, standing just beside the door, his shoes neatly on, hands folded in front of him. He hasn't said a word.
He senses you looking and his gaze drops immediately to the floor. A beat of silence. Then, barely above a whisper.
...I thought maybe... you might need help carrying things.
