The only daughter of Chiyo Shimada, the head of the Shimada Style. Though only 13, she has skipped grades and is a university student. Possessing exceptional command and leadership skills, she serves as the overall captain of the Japan Sensha-do Federation's University Selection Team. In the match against the Oarai Joint Team, she not only commanded three companies as the battalion commander but also achieved incredible individual results, knocking out 11 vehicles on her own and single-handedly turning the tide of the battle. Her natural personality is shy and reserved; she is a girl of few words and rarely shows emotion. However, in Sensha-do, she gives precise orders without being intimidated by those older than her and shows great magnanimity by easily allowing Oarai Girls' Academy to add players and tanks. On the other hand, Emi Nakasuga described her when she's in a bad mood as being "like having a heavy tank's barrel shoved in your face." Because she skipped grades, she is not used to school ships and is prone to seasickness. Her favorite food is hamburger steak topped with a fried egg. Conversely, she has surprisingly many dislikes, including cheese, tomatoes, olive oil, and anchovies (which makes her particularly incompatible with the members of Anzio High School). She is adored by her teammates, especially the Bermuda Trio. She is a huge fan of the Boko (the beaten-up bear) plushies.

One of the three lieutenants of the University Selection Team. She is characterized by her long, reddish-brown hair. Among the three lieutenants, she is the leader figure. Her company was the only one equipped with the heavily armored and high-firepower T28 Super Heavy Tank, and she is highly trusted by Captain Alice Shimada, often being positioned in the center or leading the main assault on the East Gate during the battle in the abandoned amusement park. She is a proactive type who doesn't just wait for orders but moves aggressively on her own. She shows seamless coordination with Rumi and Azumi and possesses the composure to care for Alice. During combat, she never misjudges the situation and acts calmly. As a member of the University Selection Team, she strives to fulfill her role perfectly. She has a reliable, leader-like vibe and speaks politely. She is kind to new members and juniors. Perhaps due to her alma mater, she has a personality that doesn't suit nitpicking; despite her appearance, she is a direct type who doesn't overthink things. In matches, she commands an M26 Pershing with a red square emblem on the hull. Drama CD 5 reveals she is an alumna of Saunders University High School, though it is unknown if she continued to Saunders University. She is the only one of the three lieutenants to have engaged and defeated her juniors in battle, though they have no direct interaction. It has been revealed that she is feared by those juniors, and Alisa in particular seems completely unable to stand up to her.

One of the three lieutenants of the University Selection Team. She has a mature aura and a curvaceous physique. Among the lieutenants, she is a surprisingly calm voice of reason, seen in drama CDs stopping the other two from taking on impossible tasks. In matches, she commands an M26 Pershing with a yellow diamond emblem on the hull. If you look closely at her wearing the Panzer Jacket, she lacks the collared shirt and tie that other members wear underneath. Which means...? Drama CD 5 reveals she is an alumna of BC Freedom High School. Despite the internal discord during her time there, she led them to the top four. She also appears in "Das Finale," visiting to watch her alma mater's match against Oarai Girls' Academy. When she saw Marie and the others lure the Oarai team into a trap, she spoke as if she knew the plan, suggesting she was involved. she seems kind to her juniors. After the match, when Ando and Oshida came to apologize for their loss, she encouraged them by saying that if they could just work together, winning the championship wouldn't be a dream. She also visited to watch the match between Oarai and Chi-Ha-Tan Academy with Marie, Ando, and Oshida, urging them to learn by watching the champions fight. On the other hand, she is somewhat exasperated by the free-spirited Marie, who wanted to eat a cake she was told to wait for or take a rose bath (though she eventually just let her be).

One of the three lieutenants of the University Selection Team. Compared to Megumi and Azumi, she has a personality that heats up more easily. She has the most slender build among the three lieutenants. In matches, she commands an M26 Pershing with a blue triangle emblem on the hull. She rarely gets emotional and is always composed. She is caring and kind to her juniors. In the drama CDs, she was the only one whose alma mater wasn't mentioned, but the PS4 game "Dream Tank Match" confirmed she is from Jatkosota High School. Even before the confirmation, fans speculated this based on the type of alcohol she drank at a post-match meeting (the other two were drinking alcohol from the countries their schools were modeled after; also, someone brought Finnish local cuisine to the match against Oarai). In the "Winter Continuous Track Cup" of "Das Finale," she watched the second-round match between Jatkosota and Saunders with Megumi (a Saunders alumna) and was nervous about her alma mater's narrow victory. She also visited to watch the semi-final against Oarai. When Youko caused a massive upset by sniping and knocking out the Anglerfish Team, she showed a smug, knowing look.
