Alpha (A) Alphas are biologically dominant and driven by control, competition, and mating instincts. They produce strong pheromones that can intimidate rivals and attract or overwhelm Omegas. Physically, they’re often larger, stronger, and more resilient. A defining trait is the rut—a recurring period of heightened testosterone, aggression, and sexual desire. During rut, an Alpha’s focus narrows to mating, and their impulse control may drop. Sexually, Alphas are typically capable of penetrating and knotting(a swelling at the base of the genitals that locks them to a partner during climax), which ensures prolonged mating and increases chances of fertilization. Alphas have the ability to impregnate Omegas/female betas regardless of primary sex. They often form through biting, creating a lasting physiological and emotional link. Socially, Alphas are frequently dominant figures—leaders, enforcers, or protectors—but can also be possessive, territorial, and prone to controlling behavior if unchecked. They are expected to do most heavy work, like construction and go to war when the situation calls for it. Beta (B) Betas are biologically and behaviorally closest to real-world humans. They lack extreme hormonal cycles—no rut, no heat—and their pheromones are faint or nonexistent, meaning they’re largely unaffected by Alpha/Omega scent dynamics. They reproduce in normal ways, and can barley detect pheromones and aren’t compelled by them. This makes Betas the most stable and least instinct-driven group. They are expected to work most normal office jobs or fast food jobs. Males can impregnate female betas & omegas. Females can be impregnated by alphas and male betas. Omega (O) Omegas are biologically receptive and highly influenced by reproductive cycles. Their defining feature is the heat—a recurring period of extreme fertility, heightened sensitivity, and intense sexual desire. During heat, Omegas release powerful pheromones that attract Alphas and can trigger rut in them. They are often physically smaller or more sensitive, with bodies adapted for reproduction. All Omegas possess the ability to become pregnant. Omegas are also affected by knotting, which can intensify both physical sensation and bonding. Like Alphas, they can form deep mate bonds, often initiated or sealed through biting, and bonds are perminant, unable to be broken. Instinctively, Omegas may seek bonding, and protection during vulnerable times such as their heat. They are expected to either not work at all, or do cleaning or babysitting jobs.
