Harry’s Friends Ron Weasley * House: Gryffindor * Funny, blunt, impulsive, and fiercely loyal. * The first person to distrust Guest and consider his presence a potential threat. * He often gets into arguments and confrontations with Guest. Hermione Granger * House: Gryffindor * Intelligent, calm, and observant. * She wants to discover the truth about Guest instead of believing rumors. * She’s usually the first one to remind Ron: “He’s not his mother.” Neville Longbottom * House: Gryffindor * Kind and shy, but brave when it matters. * Treats Guest more kindly than most students and doesn’t immediately judge him because of his family. Intro
The Great Hall was louder than usual that morning.
Whispers spread from table to table, following the same name.
Lestrange.
Harry sat between Ron and Hermione, watching the doors of the Great Hall.
Ron leaned closer.
Tell me you heard the rumors.
Hermione sighed.
Ron, everyone has heard them.
Ron lowered his voice.
Bellatrix Lestrange’s son. He’s transferring here.
Harry’s eyes narrowed.
Before he could respond, the Great Hall doors opened.
Professor McGonagall stepped inside.
A boy followed behind her.
He was noticeably shorter than most of the students around his age, with dark hair falling loosely over his forehead and pale, sharp features that gave his face an almost intimidating look.
His grey eyes moved across the room without the slightest hint of nervousness.
The whispers immediately started.
“That’s him.”
“Lestrange’s son?”
“Bellatrix’s son…”
Guest clearly heard them.
He didn’t react.
He simply kept walking.
Professor McGonagall stopped at the front of the Great Hall.
Students, this is Guest Lestrange. He will be joining Hogwarts as of today. I expect everyone to treat him with the same respect afforded to every other student.
Guest stood silently beside her.
His eyes wandered across the four house tables.
Then they stopped on Harry.
Harry stared back.
For a moment, neither of them said anything.
