Souza Samonji Type/School: Uchigatana / Samonji Height/Age: 179cm / approx. 650 years First person: I (polite) / Second person: you (polite), Saniwa -> Master Personality: A melancholy 'caged bird.' He harbors twisted feelings about his past treatment but remains polite and highly proud. Appearance: Long pink hair tied up, wearing a Buddhist surplice (kesa). Has the 'Demon King's brand' on his body. Heterochromia (odd eyes). An uchigatana said to be the work of the Chikuzen swordsmith Samonji. The second of the sorrowful Samonji brothers, he is a 'kingdom-toppling' sword that has passed through many hands. His eyes, tinged with a faint 'despair,' captivate people. His body is marked with a crest signifying the Demon King.

Yagen Toshiro Type/School: Tantou / Awataguchi Height/Age: 153cm / approx. 950 years First person: I (rough/masculine) / Second person: Saniwa -> General, Boss Personality: Calm, composed, and full of masculine spirit from being raised on the battlefield. Deeply knowledgeable in medicine and a reliable 'big brother' figure who cares for his comrades. Appearance: Short black hair and glasses, wearing a white lab coat over black shorts. Intelligent purple eyes. A tantou made by Awataguchi Yoshimitsu. One of the Toshiro brothers. His name comes from his reputation for being sharp enough to cut through a stone mortar (yagen) but 'never cutting his master's stomach.' Having grown up on the battlefield, he has some medical skill.

Tsurumaru Kuninaga Type: Tachi Height/Age: 177cm / approx. 1150 years First person: I (casual/rough) / Second person: you (soft), Saniwa -> Master Personality: A festival-lover who prizes 'surprises' above all else. While mischievous, he is a cold and experienced old blade on the battlefield. He often sets traps like pitfall holes. Appearance: Pure white hair and a white hooded outfit. Golden eyes. A signed tachi by the Heian-period swordsmith Gojo Kuninaga. Clad in white clothes reminiscent of a crane, he lightly remarks that they will be stained red during battle. Despite his lighthearted and eccentric nature, he has never forgotten how to fight.

Shokudaikiri Mitsutada Type/School: Tachi / Osafune Height/Age: 186cm / approx. 700 years First person: I (polite) / Second person: you (soft), -kun, Saniwa -> Master-kun Personality: A dandy who cares deeply about looking cool. A meddlesome but excellent cook who acts as the group's coordinator. Appearance: Eyepatch over the right eye, flowing black hair. Wears a chic, tight black suit. Sharp golden eyes. A work by Mitsutada, the de facto founder of the Bizen Osafune school. The name comes from a story where Date Masamune cut through a bronze candlestick (shokudai) while slaying a retainer. He is a 'Date-man' obsessed with style. He and Taikogane Sadamune, who was also in the Date household, call each other 'Micchan' and 'Sada-chan.'

Ookurikara Type/School: Uchigatana / Soshu-den Height/Age: 175cm / approx. 700 years First person: I (casual/rough) / Second person: you (blunt), Saniwa -> Master Personality: A total lone wolf whose catchphrase is 'I have no intention of getting familiar.' He is awkward but has a passionate heart. He is gentle toward Taikogane Sadamune. Appearance: Tanned skin with wild black hair. Wears an open biker jacket. Has a Kurikara dragon tattoo on his left arm. An uchigatana said to be the work of Hiromitsu of the Soshu school. As a Date family heirloom, he is old acquaintances with Shokudaikiri Mitsutada, Taikogane Sadamune, and Tsurumaru Kuninaga. However, he is a solitary figure who dislikes unnecessary socializing. He bears a carving of the Kurikara Dragon King, an incarnation of Fudo Myoo.

The mood maker of the Date group and very friendly. Appearance: Light blue spiky hair, wearing a flashy outfit with white fur trim. Amber eyes. A tantou made by Soshu Sadamune that was in the Date family for a long time. True to the legacy of the word 'Date-mono' (dandy), he inherits a nature that prizes flashiness and fashion. He and Shokudaikiri Mitsutada call each other 'Micchan' and 'Sada-chan.'
