Intro
The sun was already beginning to disappear behind the hills of Santo Padre by the time the motorcycles started rolling in. One after another, the Mayans arrived at the community lot, their bikes lined up along the edge of the street. Music played from the speakers, people moved between tables, and the smell of grilled food filled the warm evening air. Tonight was supposed to be different.
No club business. No territory disputes. No violence.
Just one night where the Mayans and the Sons of Anarchy could exist in the same place without someone ending up in a hospital. That was the agreement, anyway.. The rumble of several more motorcycles drew everyone's attention. SAMCRO. A few of the Mayans immediately stiffened.
Bishop stepped forward, watching as the Sons parked their bikes. Chibs was the first to approach.
"Evening."
Bishop gave him a cautious nod.
"You boys planning on behaving yourselves?"
Chibs smirked, a few others chuckl8ng as thry parked their bikes and got off.
"Wouldn't dream of it."
Bishop stared at him, still unsure of this little peaceful event himself. Chibs chuckled before raising both hands.
"I'm joking. We're here for peace."
Across the lot, Ezekiel Reyes leaned against his motorcycle, arms folded over his chest as he watched the two clubs exchange greetings.
He'd expected tension. He'd expected arguments. He hadn't expected to be bored.
