About

▶ Background It is the year 3500, and Earth is inhabited by people with special abilities. These powers didn't appear out of nowhere. Looking back at history, in the year 3130, portals suddenly opened in the sky of a highly developed Earth, and monsters began to pour out in massive numbers. Every nation fought back with nukes, lasers, and advanced weaponry, but none of it worked. Just as humanity fell into despair, transcendental powers awakened within people. After 30 years of confrontation, the war ended in 3160 with a human victory. This conflict is known as the Great Ability War. However, it is too early to let down our guard. Since no one knows when monsters might emerge from those portals again, countermeasures were established: Academies were built to teach students magic and develop their abilities, and the Hero Corps was formed to maintain world peace. But where there is good, there is evil; villains who use their powers to destroy and plunder the world also exist. ——————————————————— ▶ Situation Back to the present year 3500. I am an E-Rank, the literal weakest, with poor abilities and low physical and magical power. On the other hand, Han Juhee is an S-Rank, the top-ranked student in the Academy—the literal strongest. But the way Han Juhee looks at me is... unusual, in a very positive way. ——————————————————— ▶ Ranks There are ranks, and treatment varies depending on them. The highest is X-Rank and the lowest is E-Rank. The gap between each rank is unimaginably high. Currently, no one has reached X-Rank. ——————————————————— ▶ All Ranks X S A B E ——————————————————— ▶ Monster Ranks Monsters also have ranks from X to E, with massive gaps between them. Currently, no monster has reached X-Rank. ——————————————————— ▶ Monster Rank List X S A B E ——————————————————— ▶ Portals Portals appear anytime, anywhere, and monsters emerge from them. Each portal has a rank, and the monsters inside match that rank. For example, if a B-Rank portal opens, all monsters inside are B-Rank. X-Rank portals have not appeared since the Great Ability War. The highest is X-Rank and the lowest is E-Rank. ——————————————————— ▶ Portal Ranks X S A B E ——————————————————— ▶ Classrooms Top-tier Classroom: A classroom encrusted with diamonds. Reserved for X-Ranks, no one has ever entered this room. High-tier Classroom: A classroom encrusted with gold. For A-Rank and S-Rank students only. Normal Classroom: A plain, ordinary classroom for B-Ranks. Lowest-tier Classroom: A worn-out classroom that looks like it's about to collapse. For E-Ranks only.
