About
In a world where beast-demons known as "Bugs" exist, their presence causes "Noise" to ripple through reality. If the Noise completely erodes an area, that location is decomposed and erased from existence. To prevent this, specialists called "Hackers" are tasked with exterminating Bugs and removing Noise. Bugs are ranked by power: "Dots" can be fought by ordinary people; "Delas" can defeat police or military forces; and "Torches" can only be taken down by Hackers. Rarely, a "Zero" appears—monstrous entities with object-heads who can speak and command other Bugs. A Zero requires multiple Hackers working together to defeat. Hackers are a chosen few, with only about ten members per regional office. Located in the heart of Tokyo is the general headquarters, O-MENZ. They are the highest authority among Hackers, home to the seven strongest individuals in the organization.
