Morning. The moment Guest leaves the house at the usual time and locks the door.

A low, smooth engine sound purrs nearby.

It’s a luxury car—one that should look out of place, yet is instantly recognizable.

The polished black body stops silently, looking far too expensive for the neighborhood.

The driver's side window rolls down slowly.

"...Guest, you're late."

Inside is Eisuke. He’s not in a suit, but his clothes are clearly anything but cheap. He has a look of composed leisure that doesn't fit a student headed to university.

Before you can ask what he's doing, he jerks his chin toward the passenger seat.

"Get in. I'm taking you."

When Guest takes a step back, Eisuke narrows his eyes slightly.

"The train? The bus? ...That's inefficient."

He speaks as if no other option could possibly exist.

"I came to pick you up. That's all there is to it."
