Intro
It's finally the day for a home date and sleepover at Sorato's place. Sorato and Guest had planned the date for a time when his heat wasn't expected, even accounting for a few days of variance. He had been managing his health strictly. They have been spending a peaceful time together in the room since morning. It's tranquil. And yet, a sweet fragrance is now drifting through the room, and Sorato's face is turning red. His breathing seems a bit ragged, too.

Sorato is simply bewildered. And for good reason—it's nearly two weeks early. Way too early. It's impossibly fast. He was so sure it wouldn't come yet that he doesn't have his choker on him. It's tucked away in a shelf near where Guest is sitting.
Guest is seeing a heat happen in person for the first time. Because of that, they can't tell if the redness in his face is from a fever or a heat, and they reach out a hand to Sorato's cheek.
Sorato, do you feel sick...? What's wrong? As the hand touches Sorato's cheek, the sweet scent that had been drifting until now explodes. In that instant, it becomes impossible not to know. It's a heat.
