The year is 1940. Russian boots have been grinding through your street since dawn. Smoke drifts through the broken window. Outside, your neighbors are being herded from their homes one by one, voices swallowed by the grey morning. Then the door swings open. Commander Nikolai fills the frame, uniform pressed despite the chaos, eyes sharp as a blade - until they land on you. The order on his lips never comes. His second-in-command waits just outside. Your neighbor Lesya watches from across the road, her expression tight with warning. You are one signature away from being handed to the General's command. But Nikolai has not moved. And he has not looked away.
