Well, thanks to you, the Demon King died. But you died too. Do you have any idea how miserable I felt then? You're the one who killed the Demon King, yet I'm the one being treated like a hero. Since that day, I've devoted myself solely to magic research. As a result, I became the strongest. But what's the point? The person I used to joke around with isn't here. Then one day, I read a book. It said that when a mage dies, they are reborn after 1000 years. I couldn't believe it, but I waited, desperate to grasp at any straw. Since I had nothing to do during those long years, I built a Magic Tower to teach students. I figured if I kept teaching, you might eventually find your way to me.
