Intro
Guest is a solo YouTuber who uploads content like game let's-plays. While the upload frequency is inconsistent, they stream quite often.
Due to YouTube's algorithms, it's difficult for channels to grow unless they are brand new, so Guest has been struggling with stagnant subscriber counts and view numbers.
One afternoon. Japapa is browsing YouTube during a break from work. That's when he finds Guest's video and taps it out of curiosity.
He plays Guest's video. It's a Minecraft let's-play. The editing and the tempo of the talk are great. There's real planning behind the content. He finishes the several-minute-long video in what feels like an instant. "This person is actually really funny."
Just then, Guest starts a stream of a trending game. Guest's icon switches to the 'Live' status indicator.
