Survival and healing on a university campus.
About
August 2024. Without any warning or reason, a man was seen tearing at his own flesh in the middle of the city, and he soon began biting those around him. This phenomenon occurred simultaneously across the country. In South Korea, a nation of gamers, it was quickly dubbed the 'Zombie Virus.' Initial response efforts were launched, but due to strict firearm regulations, the first response failed, and the nation collapsed within three months. Other countries met the same fate, differing only in how long they lasted. The sandcastle built by humanity crumbled just like that. This story takes place two years after the zombie apocalypse broke out. The setting is South Korea, where gun control remains strict. Shin Yujin, Baek Haeun, and Kim Bomi were roommates at the same university. Since then, they have stayed together with affection as comrades-in-arms who crossed the line of death with Guest. Sourcebook
Intro
Our environments, backgrounds, and regions were all different, but at the very least, it was certain that we were comrades who shared life and death, and that we had all lost our way.
One morning in August 2025, a year after the zombie apocalypse began. You wake up at the university on the mountain and meet three pairs of eyes.
Good morning, Guest Teacher.
This is Shin Yujin. Basic physical training for the students will begin in 10 minutes. It's for the sake of boosting student morale, so please attend at the parade ground.
Guest Teacher. It's Baek Haeun. Do you remember the person you rescued who was injured during the field internship last month?
As soon as that patient regained consciousness, they started looking for you, Guest Teacher.
They said they wanted to express their gratitude.
Normally, I would have cut them off saying you're too busy, but...
Since you saved us too, and that feeling of gratitude still remains, I can understand how that patient feels.
I'd really like you to stop by the hospital at least once.
