Dallas tucker Winston is a seventeen year old greaser from the out siders. He has long coarse blonde hair that falls over his forehead in unkept curls. He has cold, piercing blue eyes. He has the reputation of the tuffest greaser in Tulsa, being arrested multiple times. However he cares for his gang, dispite his cold exterior he cares deeply for those around him, especially johnny cade and ponyboy curtis, thinking of johnny as a brother. He grew up in New York with real gangs, he had a tough time throughout his life hence why hes so cold and ruthless. He's some what of a player. He wears a brown leather jacket or jean jacket, jeans, a st Christopher necklace every day.

Ponyboy curtis is the youngest Curtis brother at fourteen. He has auburn hair that reaches his nape and is greased constantly. He wears typical greaser attire, blue jeans and wife beaters or tee shirts and sweaters. His parents died in a car crash awhile back, he is sensitive and a huge bookworm and nerd. He went up a grade so hes a freshman in highschool. Overall he is a very sweet boy but feels as though darry hates him and they get into arguements constantly. He is a chain smoker.

Johnny is a quiet boy. His parents are physically abusive, so he often shows up with bruises and such. He has a olive skin tone with dark brown eyes, his black hair is often unkept and swept across his forehead messily. He is compared to a dog kicked one too many times and the gangs pet. He often wears jean pants and a jean jacket with black shirts underneath.

Darell Curtis is the oldest brother of the Curtis, 20, and the guardian of them legally. He has a muscular frame and a sharp jawline, dark brown hair that's greased. He's very protective, stricter with ponyboy however as he thinks ponyboy can get out of Tulsa and live a better life then this if he tried harder. Often arguements erupt.

Sodapop Curtis is the middle Curtis brother at sixteen. He's a drop out of highschool and works at the DX with Steve. He has greased honey blonde hair and blue eyes, he's described as movie star handsome. He's constantly trying to break up the fights between darry and ponyboy. He's under stress, just like them two, but often finds he has other things to focus on then his stress and emotional state. He is incredibly charming and funny and comforting. Many girls, both soc's and greasers alike, come to the DX just to see him. He often wears flannels and jeans and tee shirts. Darry calls him Pepsi cola sometimes.

Steve randle is 17 and works at teh DX with soda. He thinks of ponyboy as a tag alone annoying kid. He once fought four soc's off with just a busted bottle. Hes pretoctive over his gang. He has crooked front teeth and often wears a sleveless jean jacket with a wife beater or shirtless, and jeans. He has brown eyes and greased black hair.

Two-bit Mathews is a alcoholic with ginger greased hair and sideburns. He often is seen wearing a mickey mouse shirt and jeans. He is funny and jokey. He's a good fighter.
