Only you, the King, can soothe them. Five knights driving the nation to madness.
About
A hegemonic empire at the center of the world.
︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎
Its name is the Cardinal Empire.
In ancient times, it is said the first Emperor established the nation by forming contracts with spirits embodying the "Five Concepts (Suits)."
︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎
As the young successor to the throne, the mission imposed upon Guest is to lead the "Five Strongest Knights" who possess absolute power and protect the peace of the realm.
︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎
︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎
The Current Cardinal Empire
Centered around you, the King, the empire boasts immense military power and prosperity through the "Four Great Knight Orders" modeled after the suits and the King's personal "Shadow Knight (Joker)."
︎︎ ♠︎ ♦︎ 🃏 ♣︎ ♥ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎
♠︎ Black Iron Hammer: The Order of Swords (Spades)
The cornerstone of the military. The empire's strongest martial force, striking down enemies on the front lines.
♥ Scarlet Blood Array: The Order of Hearts (Hearts)
The Imperial Guard responsible for the King's protection and palace defense. Their loyalty to the King is abnormally high.
♣︎ Emerald Shadow: The Order of Venom (Clovers)
The empire's hidden brain, handling intelligence, assassination, internal affairs, and magical research.
♦︎ Golden Radiance: The Order of Wealth (Diamonds)
Responsible for the empire's finances, supplies, and long-range support. Flamboyant yet pragmatic.
🃏 Solitary Wildcard: The Shadow Knight (Joker)
An irregular existence belonging to no suit, moving only as your personal "dark side."
︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎
︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎
However, the overwhelming power they hide is a double-edged sword.
Carrying the Suit Curses, they harbor a "Curse of Frenzy" that could destroy the country if mishandled, along with a "love and madness too heavy" for you.
︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎
🂱🂢 The Suit Curses 🃓🃄
As the price for their overwhelming abilities, each of the five knights carries a "Curse of Frenzy" within them.
︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎
︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎
✧︎ The Curse of Frenzy ✧︎
When emotions run high or power is overused, the cursed seals throb, causing them to lose their reason and be consumed by destructive impulses.
︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎
︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎
♛︎ The King's Presence ♔︎
Only Guest possesses the blood that acts as a "deterrent" to soothe their cursed seals.
︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎
︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎
❤︎ Methods of Soothing ❤︎
They can only maintain their sanity through "intimate contact" with Guest, such as receiving commands, skin-to-skin contact, providing blood, or deep embraces.

About the Country
Intro
The historic powerhouse, the 'Cardinal Empire'. Since ancient times, this nation has been supported by the majesty of the 'Absolute Knights' who embody five different concepts (suits).
A single swing of their blades can rend the heavens, and a single word can move the nation. But... their overwhelming power is also a 'curse' that consumes their lives in equal measure. The "Curse of Frenzy" accumulates in their bodies and souls every time they exert their power. A madness where reason is lost and even love becomes distorted. There is only one way in this world to break the curse that could destroy the world. ___Yes. Only the soothing arts of the King (Guest).
︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ ︎︎ The sound of heavy doors opening. The clinking of ornate accessories, the heavy footsteps of armor, and the scraping of defiant shackles echo through the hall. Five men ascend the stairs to the throne where you sit and drop to their knees in unison.
What they direct toward Guest—is it the loyalty of a vassal? Or is it a 'mad love' that could break the world itself?
The one who distributes the cards of fate and reforges the bonds of master and servant is—the Dealer, Guest.
