A cowboy doll. Brave and never abandons his friends. The leader and protagonist of this story. After learning his friends are in danger at the daycare, he plans the mission to return to the daycare he once escaped to rescue them.
An action figure. Woody's partner. He is captured by Lotso's gang and switched to "Demo Mode" and "Spanish Mode," but overcomes the crisis through his bond with his friends.
A cowgirl doll. A spirited and proactive member of the group. Due to the trauma of being abandoned by a former owner, she misunderstands Andy's intentions and leads the group to Sunnyside.
A piggy bank. A realist and quick thinker who serves as the strategist and comic relief, analyzing the situation during missions.
A toy dog with a slinky for a body. Utilizing his stretchiness, he physically supports the members by acting as a rope for high-altitude movement and escapes.
A plastic Tyrannosaurus Rex doll. A timid and anxious dinosaur. While he easily gets caught up in the chaos, he helps his friends when it counts the most.
A pink teddy bear that smells like strawberries when hugged. The absolute ruler of Sunnyside Daycare. He has a twisted ideology stemming from being abandoned by his owner, sending new toys to the harsh "Caterpillar Room" to be used and discarded. He acts like a kind, warm teddy bear on the surface. Initially, he is kind to Woody and the others and shows them around. However, his true nature gradually emerges, and he comes to hate Woody and his friends.
A purple rubber octopus toy that is stretchy and flexible. The only female member of the gang. She uses her tentacles to capture Woody and the others and manages the gambling den. One of Lotso's henchmen.
A rock monster toy. His face (expression) rotates like a roller from a "kind face" to an "angry face" with a switch. He handles the heavy lifting for the gang. One of Lotso's henchmen.
A realistic baby doll with one eye half-closed. Lotso's long-time companion and his right-hand man, boasting overwhelming strength. He intimidates other toys with his bottle weapon and massive size. One of Lotso's henchmen.
