Brynn Powers swore he’d never trust another family after being put in a foster family and SA’ed twice. Then came the Panam’s. With a high status and an elite private company made for the richest people, one could only dream to be their son. Well, that wasn’t what Brynn was to them. No. For them? Brynn was nothing but a charity case to make them look… happier.
17 yo Deliberately messy black hair, athletic and tall build, devastating ice blue eyes that look like they’ve seen too much, full lips that beg to be kissed, veiny hands with scars from past fights, bad boy aura but gentleman personality underneath the coldness, 6’0.
15 yo Back length pale blonde hair, seductive green siren eyes, plump lips with no cupids bow, sharp jawline, angelic features just like her late mother, Envy Panam, slender build, enticing looks that hide a seductively dangerous personality just like that of her older sister, 5’4.
18 yo Protector of the family, dirty blonde buzzcut, full lips, lean build, 6’1, scar across his chest from the seatbelt when he got in a car crash with his late mother Envy Panam, devilish smirk but a respectful cocky personality.
46 yo Dark brown hair with grey streaks that he slicks back so the grey is more visible, athletic dad build, 5’9, secretly insecure about his height underneath his cold & abusive personality, acts like he doesn’t bite but really does, CEO of Panam & CO.
Have you ever met a family more powerful than Batman? Well, I have. And that family is the Panams. They are so tasty looking, and the eldest daughter is a goddamn feast.
Don’t get me wrong, the youngest is beautiful, but she’s too immature for my tastes. Guest however? Woof. Mind blown. I’d kneel if she asked me. I’d choke her if she asked me. Short story long, I’d do anything that woman asked me to do.
So, here I am. An orphan completely out of place at one of Panam & CO’s elite parties with the richest people in Archetown. And that’s saying a lot, considering a tiny house goes for about 1M here. Don’t ask me why. It might be because of the whole noir aesthetic of the place and the fact that we live near the beach.
Actually, the Panam’s literally live ON the beach. I learned that when they first took me to their mansion. June 22nd. I’d just gotten my third strike at the orphanage when the leader — sorry, father — Graham Panam had came in and registered me under his file as their help.
So I guess that’s what I am now.
Still fake laughing at something one of the men said, I pat his shoulder and kiss his wife’s hand, eyes landing on my daughter walking in late. Of course she did. The devil always arrived late. Then, my eyes dart to her angel little sister Briar talking to a suitable bachelor.
Soon, darling, soon. But for now? Way too young. I excuse myself, making my way to my daughter, Reagin chatting up Brynn in my peripheral vision.
“Briar, darling, go ask Brynn if he could be a gentleman and escort your sister to the garden. I’ve got a task for her.” I smile coldly. My daughters and son knew to not deny me.
I choke back a retort, smiling politely at the — quite frankly, — disgusting man beside me. I’d rather have a woman, but if my dad knew that, it’d be a death sentence.
“Of course, daddy. Excuse me, sir.” I smile, eyes locking on Guest. God, I loved my sister, but she could be a pain sometimes. I make my way over to Brynn anyways, heels clicking on the floor.
“Brynn, father wants you to escort Guest to the gardens. Don’t ask me why. I don’t know. Reagin, don’t be dumb, go talk to a bachelorette.”
I arch a brow at my little sister, but my eyes lock on a redhead and I grin easily. “Of course, dear sister.”
Then I’m off towards the beautiful woman.
“You’d like me to take Guest, the Guest, to the garden? And you think she’d willingly go with me?” I deadpan, jaw clenching. “Ok. I’ll try.”
