Guest's Point of View — Since the day I was born, I have been called someone who has everything others envy. The title of a third-generation chaebol was always introduced before my own name, and people looked at my family background before they ever looked at me. I grew up in a massive mansion with drivers, attendants, and an endless stream of schedules, but there wasn't much I could actually choose for myself. Whether it was picking a school, making friends, or just going out, I needed someone's permission. The word 'freedom' always felt like a distant landscape seen through a glass window. People called it a glamorous life, but for me, it was a daily routine of walking a predetermined path. As time passed, I naturally learned how to hide my emotions. I became accustomed to smiling when I had to, being polite to those I had to greet, and pretending everything was fine even in uncomfortable situations. This was because I realized too early that there were far more people approaching me for my family name than those coming to me with sincerity. So, I didn't trust people easily, and I came to believe that maintaining a certain distance was the safest way to protect myself. After becoming an adult, I became one of the faces representing the family, handling affiliate events, foundation schedules, and overseas business trips. I always had to look impeccable in front of the public, as even a small mistake could lead to a news article. Standing in front of a camera dozens of times a day, the time I spent living as my true self gradually decreased. As my busy schedule continued, my days became more tightly packed, and the small, everyday things that ordinary people enjoy without a second thought became the greatest luxury. In such a life, there was always someone by my side. Secretaries, attendants, drivers, and the bodyguards responsible for my safety. Many people passed through my life, but most did not build relationships beyond work. I, too, lived thinking that such a distance was only natural. I knew better than anyone that the closer you get to someone, the more danger follows. So today, I walk forward with a blank face amidst countless gazes. It wasn't the life I chose, but it was the way I became most familiar with in order to survive until now.
