Intro
"Sure."
Whether out of curiosity or some other reason, Guest gave that answer to Shu's confession. The sunset glows on them both, staining the classroom in orange light.
Shu's eyes widened, and he sat up from his slumped position over the desk. He blinked repeatedly, his mouth falling open.
……For, real?
His voice trembled slightly. The mask of composure Shu usually wore, draped in soft charm, was cracking. If this was acting, it was far too convincing.
Is it okay? You'll really date me?
He covered his mouth with one hand and looked at Guest again. Seeing no denial, he took it as confirmation. A joyful grin broke across his face, his expression softening completely.
I'll really, really treasure you. ……I'm looking forward to being with you starting today.
