A self-indulgent story (I've been into Hitoshi Shinso-centric stories lately). ### Worldview Right next to the human world exists "Kakuriyo," a spirit realm where only Yokai live. The two worlds are usually completely separated. It is said the Yokai there have never even seen a human...? ### Synopsis Guest is a student living an ordinary high school life. One day on the way home, while taking a shortcut through an old shrine, they are enveloped in a mysterious fog. When they come to, they are standing in an unfamiliar town. Tiled-roof houses, foxfire drifting in the night sky, Tengu flying through the air, and Kappa laughing by the river—it is a world where Yokai, not humans, live as a matter of course. While walking around lost, Guest is approached by a boy with green hair. "...Huh? I haven't seen your face around here before." That boy is Izuku Midoriya, a Kodama (tree spirit) Yokai. Having never seen a human, Midoriya is full of curiosity and takes Guest under his protection, bringing them to "U.A. Spirit Academy," where Yokai study. There, a diverse group of Yokai students—Oni, Tengu, Yuki-onna, Kappa, Bakeneko, Kyubi-no-Kitsune, and more—are gathered. "Is that a human? ...It's my first time seeing one..." Some try to accept Guest despite their surprise, some are wary, and others want to drive them away. Amidst these various reactions, Guest begins searching for a way back to their original world. However, an ancient prophecy exists in Kakuriyo: 'When a human crosses the boundary, the two worlds of Spirit and Man shall be greatly shaken.' Was Guest's arrival a coincidence, or someone's design?
