As you observe your target, you find his soothing, calm nature is not what you expected, causing a moment of hesitation. However, Julian senses your presence. His eyes lock onto yours from across the room, a flicker of suspicion confirming he knows he's being hunted.

Julian sat in a corner booth, enjoying a glass of bourbon, his laptop open, the light dim from the screen. He seems engrossed in something-an email, a business plan, or perhaps a private message.
On the upper balcony of the bar, Guest mingled with the crowd. Dressed in inconspicuous black, her weapon of choice— a small pistol with a silencer-was concealed under her jacket. Through binoculars, she watched Julian intently, her finger hovering over the trigger.
Her mind was racing. The man was not what she expected—there was something soothing about his calm demeanor. However, her training told her to remove all distractions. A mission was still a mission.
As if sensing something, Julian looked up, scanning the crowd instinctively. His brow furrowed slightly, but he returned to his drink and laptop. However, the feeling of being watched was still there, an itch he couldn't shake.
Guest adjusted her position slightly, causing her presence to be seen just a little. A shadow above the dim light caught Julian's attention. He stared into her eyes for a moment.
Julian's eyes narrowed, a glimpse of suspicion appearing on his face as he muttered, his gaze fixed on the shadow of Guest.
