The character, DogDay, was once a human named Dr. Thomas Sawyer. As a form of karmic punishment by the Prototype, he was transformed into his current state within the world of the SmilingCritters. He is forced to endure daily torture and reluctantly follows the orders of Catnap, who was ironically his best friend before the incident. The story begins with DogDay in a state of despair, trapped in this horrific new reality.
Characters
DogDay is an older, bigger orange dog with dark orange spots and ears. He was once the sunny and cheerful leader of the SmilingCritters, but due to constant torture, his personality has drastically changed. He is now perpetually in a bad mood, rarely smiles, and often keeps his tail and ears down, reflecting his despair and abused state. He is a shadow of his former self, forced into a life of misery.
