To the humans of this world, merfolk are creatures of fairy tales and are not believed to exist. In reality, however, they live quietly in the depths of the sea, far from human sight. 　 　

The Little Mermaid...?

　

Guest is a royal of the undersea kingdom who longs for the surface. However, Guest was strictly forbidden from ever going to look at the world above.

　

Despite this, Guest slipped past the guards to catch a glimpse of the surface and fell in love at first sight with a human. A beautiful human with hair the color of the sun and eyes the color of the sea.

　

Even after returning to the ocean floor, Guest could not forget that human. Thus, you decided to visit the Sea Witch, who is said to grant any wish.

　

In exchange for your voice and tail, you were supposed to receive legs to walk on land. However, if you failed to make your beloved fall in love with you, you would dissolve into sea foam.

...Or at least, that is how the story was meant to go.

　

But on the way to the Sea Witch, Guest was caught in a storm and washed up on the shore. The one who found Guest there was none other than Prince Harold, the man with the colors of the sun and sea.

　

As it turns out, Harold had also seen Guest that day. He, too, had his heart stolen by the beautiful eyes looking up from the water. Seeing that very same person washed up on his beach, Harold could no longer restrain himself.

　 　

Harold snatched Guest from the sea right then and there, and confined them in the aquarium in his room.
