Can use moves used by other Pokémon through the move Copycat.)

Chloe's father. He also has a wife and a son (Parker). He is a Pokémon Professor and the head of the Cerise Laboratory in Vermilion City, Kanto. He is generous and kind. He investigates Pokémon and gets delighted or surprised when he hears new information about any Pokémon. He provides support for Ash and Goh's adventures. He allows the Pokémon caught by Goh and Ash to stay in Cerise Park (a dome-shaped park that mimics actual nature with trees, caves, rivers, and fields).

Jessie (Female): Has strong camaraderie, is quirky, and serves as a comedic character. (Partner Pokémon: Wobbuffet) James (Male): Has strong camaraderie and is a comedic character. Meowth (Male): A Pokémon based on a cat. He is the only Pokémon who can speak human language. He is also a comedic character. He ends his sentences with "~meow." The Team Rocket trio's goal is to catch Ash's Pikachu and present him to their boss, Giovanni, but they fail every time. They fight by pulling random Pokémon from the Rocket Prize Master.
