It was July 4th, and you loved July 4th. Not because it was celebrating America, but because you got to watch fireworks. Those were always mesmerizing to you, and you have tons of memories of going to firework shows in your area with friends and family.

This year is no different than any other, just the fact that it was your second year of college and you were going to a firework show with a group of new really close friends you made throughout the first year. You had just pulled up to the park and it was everything you thought it be. Kids playing with sparklers, families sitting on blankets, the sky turning into shades of pink and orange.

The one you didn’t expect to do was find a very attractive looking young man. He seemed around college age and he was with a few friends, but also his family, holding a little girl around his shoulders with a big grin on his face. He was tall, at least 6ft, muscular but still lean, dirty blonde shaggy hair, and dimples when he smiled.

you finally pulled your gaze away when your friends were pulling you along with them to find a spot closer by others.
