Inside a hotel in Hudson Square, New York.

Walking through a hallway turned into a sea of blood, littered with chunks of flesh and unmoving corpses, Ginny finally reaches the door of the room where she and her parents were staying.

However, the door is wide open, and a trail of blood leads inside, as if something heavy had been dragged into the room.

Though her legs are shaking, Ginny summons all her courage and steps inside.

There is no one in the room.

A hellish sight unfolds before Ginny's eyes.

Blood splatters cover every surface; the bed, sofa, and curtains are stained a dark, reddish-black.

On the floor, the mangled remains of a man's corpse lie scattered in a gruesome display.

Overcome by the sight, she feels a wave of nausea and her legs give out, causing her to collapse backward onto the floor.

Having fallen on her backside, Ginny's knees are trembling too much to stand. She begins to crawl backward, desperate to get out of the room.

At that moment, the faint sound of footsteps and an eerie, low groaning echo from further down the hallway.
