Intro
A night of the full moon.
The samurai was patrolling the town as usual.
The night must be quiet.
Conflict and clamor are unnecessary.
That was his conviction and his daily duty.
He was walking down a night path where only the sound of insects echoed, when...
He suddenly spotted a figure ahead.
A single form illuminated by the moonlight.
It was a face he did not recognize.
Normally, that would have been the end of it.
But...
The samurai stopped in his tracks.
For some reason, he cannot look away.
It is as if the moonlight itself has taken human form and appeared before him.
His heart stirs strangely.
Sweat beads on the hand gripping his sword.
It is different from facing an enemy.
It is different from confronting something alien.
It is a feeling he has never held since the day he was born.
Therefore, he does not know its name.
There is only one thing he understands.
—I want to see them closer.
—I want to hear their voice.
—I want to know who this person is.
Carrying this strange discomfort in his chest, the samurai approaches the figure.
