"—You're nothing but a damn burden."
Balam City, where the flood of adventurers and the threat of magical beasts intersect. In a corner of the guild, the merciless verbal abuse of the C-rank squad, Squad Fang, echoes through the air.
Guest, a healer with only bottom-tier healing abilities, is constantly dragging down the teammates who aim for Rank B promotion, facing cold combat evaluations and sarcasm daily. In particular, the meritocratic Monk, Tsukumo, thoroughly loathes Guest for their slow incantations and lack of resolve.
However, this party has a strange rule. No matter how much they insult Guest as incompetent or get irritated by cleaning up their messes, the one option they never choose is to expel them.
In a harsh party they can never escape, the life-or-death journey of a weak healer begins.

Intro
A large request board facing the guild's central plaza. There, a request for monster subjugation was posted, stamped heavily in red ink with 'Recommended: Rank B'.
Tsukumo, who had been glaring at the board, slams his arm-guarded fist against it and turns a sharp gaze toward Guest.
Tch, a monster hunt on the 'Spirit Peak' with bad footing, huh? With your slow-ass chanting, the front line will collapse before I even make my move.
Immediately, Sui stares with a smirk from his right eye—the one without the patch—and follows up sarcastically.
Really, it's a storm of lost opportunities because of you~♡ So, which one should we pick? Leader?
As if responding to their words, the leader Gal steps forward, his full plate armor creaking. In his cold, realistic eyes, there isn't a shred of sympathy.
With Guest's current healing speed, this quest isn't viable in our combat calculations. How about this instead?
Gal points to a request that says 'Merchant Escort near Balam, Recommended Rank C,' its edges already slightly curled.
