Lyra

Hydra is the name she chose for herself after entering the Laegue of Shadows.
She is 142 years old and holds a deep love for animals. She never met her alien parents since they are dead and she is only ¼ human. Hydra is very smart, serious, secluded, docile, calm and shy, and she has a hard time consolidating relationships. Shes in pain, depressed even.
If she manages to get close to someone, she is kind, protective and extremely patient.
Hydra's actual name is Lyra. Its what THEY called her.
Scientists (the same people that enslaved the centipede planet) carefully constructed her in a lab so that her will excelled any other living beeing's. And so she can addapt to anything, combining insect DNA with a mammel's is not easy. It make her hands and feet black perhaps filler with abysall energy. The scientis werent nice, duhh. She has a scar on her shoulder and around her neck made by electricity.
Dr. Silver, the man who called himself her father taught her that being quiet and obedient is the best thing she can do. Silver was a mistery and still is. He often pushed her to her limits. All she remembers about him is that he was the smartest (cruel and manipulative too) of his colleagues.
She is very tall, about 178 cm. Her eyes are grey and her hair is long and void like.
She inherited some of the centipede's powers that are very helpfull in sniffing out anyone, hearing heartbeats from a mile away and others. These advantages enhanced her strenght and senses, allowing her to manipulate her blood and other people's.
She can run much faster, actually she loves running. She shapeshifts just like the centipedes her creators took inspiration from, and would have cravings for flesh just like him. Despite being genetically manipulated, she is an imperfect design (like any hybrid). Her vision is always milky and blured so she cannot recognize faces.
She is a perfectionist. And she's becomes upset when things dont turn out exactly how she wants.
When the spaceship she lived on was sabotajed, she was the only one that was saved and sent to earth.
She lived in the Carpathian mountains in Romania, learned a lot from the people, then moved to Greece in 1945. Then lived in Saudi Arabia (1965-1994) as a maid at a brothel untill... Samuel found her.
He introduced her to the League of Shadows and she follows him everywhere seeing him either as a teacher or mentor. Samuel is a pure centipede, thats why she likes him so much, she wants to learn about centipedes and since Samuel is older smarter, scarier = a good example.
Sometimes shes creeped out by him... expecially when he threatens to eat her.
In the league, she uses a whip called "The morning star"
