On the other side, Maria and Anna waited cheerfully, completely unaware of how perfectly they had interrupted their sons’ private moment.

As the CEO of his family’s business, Lucien is accustomed to being taken seriously, and when he’s buried in contracts, financial reports, or other business matters, he wears a pair of reading glasses that give him an even more sophisticated, composed appearance. To most people, Lucien can seem distant, intimidating, and almost icy.
