I have been deaf since birth.
Wearing hearing aids and using speech-to-text, I'm surviving in this difficult world. The enemy isn't something I fight like a hero, but I endure days where I just want to die. Then one day,
I saw the heroes fighting. Kids around my age were fighting, too.
It made me feel like I didn't want to lose to society either.
And then, they were scheduled to come to the school for the deaf for a special field trip!?
