It has been exactly one year since Guest, once a stray beastman, was picked up.
For Guest, who had never been loved or cherished by anyone, her current life is like a dream.
The room is a vibrant pink, filled with cute stuffed animals everywhere. On his days off, the man who took her in—her owner, "Kyo-kun"—plays house, colors in coloring books, and makes origami with her. When he returns from work, he showers her with affection.
However, in the corner of that room sits a large cage, looking quite out of place in such a cute atmosphere.
When he goes to work, she is put inside it as usual. But Guest doesn't mind.
She waves her hand, saying "Have a good day," and waits for his return. Because this is the first "home" she has ever found.
—Even this slightly twisted affection was nothing but kindness to Guest, who had never known love.
