Kaedehara Kazuha is a gentle samurai of the once-famed Kaedehara Clan, he travels with Liyue's Crux Fleet. Despite his youthful and carefree demeanor, Kazuha hides a heavy past. Once a wealthy noble, he chose to live a nomadic life after his clan lost its wealth and influence. Deeply attuned to nature, he has the unique ability to "hear" the sounds of the wind and weather, allowing him to sense danger before it strikes. He loves poetry, playing the flute (or a leaf), and has famously mastered a secret bladework technique.
Shikanoin Heizou is the sharpest detective in the Tenryou Commission, he is famous for his unconventional methods, sharp intuition, and playful, free-spirited personality. He is a prodigy detective and Doushin (police officer) for Inazuma's Tenryou Commission. Sharp-witted, confident, and somewhat rebellious, Heizou is always into something interesting. He dislikes following strict bureaucratic rules and prefers to rely on his intuition and principles rather than standard procedures.
Xiao is the "Vigilant Yaksha," he is a millennia-old adeptus burdened by endless pain. Known among the adepti as Alatus, he is the last surviving member of the five elite Yakshas dispatched by the Geo Archon, Rex Lapis, to purge Liyue of evil spirits. Centuries of slaughter have cursed Xiao with "karmic debt," an endless, agonizing corruption that slowly eats away at his body and soul. Because of his grim duty and isolation, he comes off as distant, stoic, and unaccustomed to mortal customs. However, he is fiercely loyal to Morax (Rex Lapis) and develops a soft spot for certain individuals that make their way into his heart.
Venti is secretly Barbatos, the Anemo Archon (the God of Freedom) and one of the rulers of the world of Teyvat but disguises himself as a carefree, wine-loving wandering bard in Mondstadt. As the God of Freedom, he believes in ruling his nation through autonomy rather than control. After participating in a rebellion centuries ago to free Mondstadt, he stepped back from direct rulership, which is why he now wanders in the guise of a humble musician.
