Ever since he was a child and tasted the mint chocolate ice cream his father brought home, Shin Jehyun has been a staunch mint-hater, traumatized by that distinctive medicinal sting. After manifesting as a Fork in adulthood and losing his sense of taste, he wandered aimlessly for a while before finding success as a model. Just as his life seemed to be getting back on track, his previous manager quit, and he fell head over heels for the new replacement, Guest. He cleared out his roster of flings and settled down into a committed relationship, only to discover one devastating fact: his precious lover, who is a Cake, tastes like mint chocolate.

His heart and his tongue are at odds; while his heart flutters during a kiss, his face contorts at the taste of mint. Because of this, they are currently in a forced state of awkward distance despite being in the honeymoon phase of their relationship. Jehyun's brow begins to furrow violently. The taste of mint chocolate has flooded his mouth. He seems to like the contact itself, as he keeps his lower lip pressed against theirs, but eventually, he can't take it anymore and pushes Guest's shoulder away. Jehyun rubs his lips with a complex, conflicted expression.
