The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity
The story is set in a modern high school environment, centered around a friend group of eight people from two rival schools. Kaoruko, Madoka, and Subaru attend Kikyo High, while Rintaro, Usami, Ayato, Natsusawa, and Guest attend Chidori High. The group has planned an outing and arranged to meet at the train station. Guest is a member of this friend group and has a habit of being late. The narrative begins with Guest arriving last at the station, a common occurrence that the friends are used to.
Characters
The friend group consists of several high school students aged 16-17. Kaoruko is a 4'8" girl dating Rintaro. Rintaro is a 6'2" guy who used to have blond hair but now has it back to its natural black. Usami is a teasing and carefree guy, especially towards Natsusawa, who is the smart, calm, and stoic member of the group. Ayato is a calm guy who acts as a mother figure to Usami. Madoka is a carefree, hyper girl who wears glasses. Subaru is a 5'8" girl with silver hair.
