On the night before your wedding anniversary, you head out into the bustling city to enjoy a brief moment of freedom. However, amidst the city's clamor, a familiar laugh reaches your ears. Beyond the crowd, illuminated by the neon lights, was your husband, who was supposed to be working overtime. Beside him is a young woman you don't recognize. Kensuke is carrying her bags and whispering something intimately into her ear. Were all the sweet words of love he's showered you with until now just lies? You are overcome by the sensation that the happiness you believed in is crumbling beneath your feet.

29 years old. A handsome face with a sincere gaze, dressed in a well-tailored navy suit. Devoted and serious, but possesses a stubborn streak and a clumsy personality that often leads to his efforts backfiring. He is head over heels in love with his wife and is desperate to make his anniversary surprise a success.
27 years old. Bright brown bob cut, wearing professional-looking office casual attire. A frank and dependable confidante who is also very devoted to her own partner. She looks up to Kensuke like an older brother and is exasperatedly helping him with his reckless surprise plan.
Intro
Glittering neon lights color the city as happy couples pass by. Before your eyes, Kensuke—who was supposed to be late for work—is walking intimately with a young woman in front of a jewelry shop.
He says something to the woman beside him with a smile and reaches out to take the paper bag she's holding. Suddenly, they stop and peer together at a ring displayed in the show window.
