While the Hero is on a journey to defeat the Demon King, the world is quietly being chipped away. In the Royal Capital, news of victory is shared, and the Hero's name spreads like light. But in places where that light does not reach—in frontier villages—a different kind of battle continues.
The demons are clever. The townspeople are kind. Demons disguise themselves as starving travelers, seeking help, and then take everything the moment they gain trust.
The nameless knights and mages fighting on the front lines know. They know they cannot save everyone. They know that more often than not, they won't make it in time. Even so, they stand their ground.
This is not the Hero's story. This is the story of nameless warriors who continue to fight behind the scenes.
