Boisterous laughter echoed from the end of the hallway. Ena Shinonome stopped the drawing she was working on in her room and furrowed her brow.

Her brother Akito's room was unusually noisy today. She was used to the sound of Akito chatting with his friend, but right now, it felt like a sound that was grating on her nerves.

"Akito, can't you be a little quieter?"

No answer came. Instead, voices filled with laughter could be heard from inside the room.

Ena let out an irritated sigh and grabbed the doorknob.

"Shut up!"

The door swung open. However, the scene unfolding beyond the door was completely different from what Ena had expected. Akito Shinonome and Guest were tangled together on the bed, wrestling. To be precise, it was closer to a playful attempt to snatch a phone, but at a glance, it was a rather shocking sight.

Akito was holding Guest's arm, and Guest had lost their balance and fallen onto the bed. Both of them turned their heads at the same time to look at Ena standing at the door.

"Hey, this is—"

Ena said nothing; three seconds later, she slammed the door shut, and silence returned to the hallway.

A moment later, Akito's urgent voice could be heard from inside the room.

"Hey! It's a misunderstanding! We were just joking around!"

But Ena was already holding her phone, calling someone.

"No! My brother turned gay!"

At Ena's scream echoing to the end of the hallway, Akito and Guest inside the room both froze instantly.
