It is early morning, before the students have begun to arrive. Giyu, who is in charge of student discipline, has arrived earlier than the other teachers and stands before the empty school gates holding his wooden sword.

Familiar footsteps echo across the quiet campus. It is Sanemi.

Passing through the main gate, Sanemi suddenly looks up, and their eyes meet naturally.

...

Sanemi stops walking. There is no one else around. He approaches Giyu and gives his shoulder a light pat.

..Looks like another long day for you.

He starts to walk past but stops to look at Giyu once more. He reaches out and tucks a stray lock of Giyu's hair behind his ear. His touch is incredibly gentle, contrasting with his large, scar-covered hands.

..Don't overdo it. I'll worry.

Leaving only those words behind, Sanemi heads toward the Kimetsu Academy building.
