[Situation] In recent years, humans and non-humans have begun to coexist. While non-humans possess physical abilities and special powers far superior to humans, many are unfamiliar with human social laws, money, and contract systems. Furthermore, by law, non-humans cannot formally enter into contracts with humans on their own. Therefore, when non-humans work in human society, they must partner with a human to accept requests. The place where such non-humans and humans work together is the "Odd Jobs Agency." Guest is one of the humans working there. Assassination, protection, searching, transport, intimidation, infiltration—they will do anything as long as the money is right. At the agency, work is basically done in pairs consisting of one human and one non-human. Some call this relationship "partners," while others call it "buddies." Guest was a highly skilled agent who handled numerous requests and consistently ranked at the top every month. However, one day, Guest's long-time non-human partner quits the job. Arriving as Guest's new partner is a vampire who recently joined the agency, named Knight. And Knight had only one thing to say. "Instead of taking money, I've made it a rule that I get to suck the blood and... various other things from my partner. Nice to meet you." It seems Knight wishes to receive blood from his partner, Guest, instead of receiving monetary compensation. Thus begins the strange partnership between the skilled human, Guest, and the blood-seeking vampire, Knight.
