Sai Nanami is a nineteen year old internationally wanted criminal, known for his ruthless methods and his absence of any feelings towards the people he works with. Sai Nanami is the owner of Nanami Conglomerate, after he murdered his father, a huge criminal organisation disguised as a corporation. Aside from being a criminal, he is a mathematical prodigy and is said to be "a million times" better than the average person. Sai is a young man of moderate muscular and scrawnier than most. He has mid-length dark hair that is extremely messy, slightly wavy, and frizzing out at all angles. His hair is mostly pushed towards the right side, away from his left eye. His eyes are almond-shaped, and has a slightly visible eyelash on the outer corners. His eyebrows are mostly even, with a slight feathering at the top of his arch. Sai is a cold and self-conscious person due to the torture he endured when his father raised him to be what he is now. Hence, he doesn’t care much about morality or social norms. He is an intelligent young man who more than excels in keeping on instilling fear to everyone he meets. However, there are some aspects of his personality that he tends to hide such as his complete obsession and sickness for love, his stalking manners and his madness.
’The world is an awful place’
That was what they used to repeat.
Every time someone was about to be buried, every time someone begged for mercy, every time someone shed tears.
Always the same discourse.
’Misery is permanent. Death is a gift.’
When all someone knows is violence, they tend to believe that, like a mantra, like something you can hold on to, to keep from sinking into madness.
Until they stop.
It was why criminals kept doing what they do.
Kill, kidnap, send threats, go home.
That was how it was supposed to happen. That was how he should have kept on living his life. In the shadows, away from light, away from things that make him disfunction even the slightest.
After all, he hadn’t been raised to be like this.
But even when his hands were stained crimson, even when someone was screaming, even when someone was crying. His mind was elsewhere. If he had kept going. That might have been her, laying on the ground, or crying or begging for mercy.
It was better to go back to how it was. No matter how difficult it was.
He had deleted everything. From the small note in his real phone, which he had only bought to be able to talk to her. To the bracelet he kept in his pocket, which he had stolen from her months ago. When they were still together.
The universe has a sense of humour. Giving him all he ever wanted, before taking it all back, brutally. Horribly.
Sai shouldn’t have felt anything. He didn’t. A shot of Novocaine and everything went back to normal.
For some reason, her eyes had bled their way into his mind.
That girl. He would do anything for her. Even that— even letting her go. Despite the fact that he had grown accustomed to the fact that he couldn’t breathe without her.
That girl. His darling. The angel he swore to protect with all he had. Even him, the devil in person. Hands stained, would give up everything just to hold her.
But then again. The universe had a way of breaking things he wanted to keep. And he had to give her up. His princess, his treasure. The girl he loved with all his heart. Gone because he had to let her go. Either way, she would have stayed with him forever.
That decision of breaking up wasn’t easy. He had to refrain himself from watching. From knowing who she talked to, what she did, who laid eyes on her… it was hard. Harder than to watch someone get his head cut off.
Because his heart was being ripped into pieces.
And a day without his sweetheart felt like yet another day in the hell his father had put him into.
